COACHING
Christian Coaches help people discover God's calling on their life and how to live out that call. Coaches come alongside individuals to help them discover new ways of achieving goals. Life Coaching as a profession has been around for years as many well known actors studied under drama coaches in the 50's and many leading corporate executives studied under coaches to help with personal accountability in the 70's. Personal Life Christian Life Coaching is a very specific field that requires a coach who has integrity and character to help their client achieve their goals based on biblical principals. Life coaching is performance based as the coach attempts to keep the client on task by keeping them accountable. Unlike many athletic coaches, the life coach does not "rant and rave,” but instead walks alongside the client with empathy while providing insight and encouragement.
MARRIAGE COACHING
We can coach you through the struggles you haven’t figured out how to fix. As a couple, we provide a unique service for you and your spouse. We will create a supportive environment for both you and your spouse. Our philosophy on having a healthy marriage comes from a common sense biblical approach to building a healthy marriage. In Hosea 4:2 the Bible says that “my people perish for a lack of knowledge.” Peace and joy come through the surrender to God’s redemptive work.
We believe:
1. Everyone at his or her core wants to be loved. Marriage coaching will identify the overwhelming and hidden problems in your marriage and build bridges between each spouse by creating a safe environment in coaching sessions to facilitate effective communication.
2. People are responsible for what they co-create in a marriage. Discovering what contribution each spouse has made to the unhealthiness of the marriage is vital for healing. The path towards having a fulfilling marriage begins with a commitment to personal growth.
3. We believe in doing everything we can to help couples reconcile. Our hearts are to help couples become safe for each other, to heal and develop a loving, fulfilling marriage. With God at the center, reconciliation is always possible.
