Bridgett Quarles, M.MFT, LMFT-S

Bridgett "Bri" Quarles began her journey into the helping professions over 30 years ago as an adviser to student athletes in Oakland, California.Throughout her professional career, Bri has worked in various settings (including agencies, hospital, and private practice) and in various roles (counselor, educator, coach, adviser, and in ministry) always with Christ at the heart of her service. She has counseled people challenged with mental health, emotional, behavioral, and relational issues; and has discovered, she is most passionate about helping strengthen married couples as the foundation for the family and helping adult clients flourish through Christ-centered couple's and mental health therapy to achieve their God-given purpose. Her goal is to help people grow to become well adjusted, build strong healthy relationships, reach goals, and fulfill their purposes.

Bri earned a B.A. in Psychology (1993) from Cal Poly Pomona University and an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy (2011) from Capella University. She is also an accomplished presenter and guest lecturer who shares her knowledge and experience as a professional, a Christian, and a wife, with others. In practice, she employs various techniques including Gottman's Sound Marital House techniques, Emotionally Focused Couple’s therapy, HOPE-Focused Couples Therapy, as well as Forgiveness, nouthetic, and other solution-focused theories and techniques. Bri is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S) in the state of Texas and Certified TeleMental Health Provider (CTMH); as well, she holds certifications as both a Prepare/Enrich and a SYMBIS facilitator. She is a registered Twogether in Texas Provider for premarital preparedness.

Bri is also happily married wife, mom, and grandma of a blended family of five wonderful adult children and one grand-child (so far). She has served continually in ministry at her home church for many years and on her church's marriage ministry team with her husband, co-facilitating small group marriage classes, and mentoring married couples.
